You are right and those functions work fine. "Line sequence" function has 
pretty odd Finnish translation but I may know who to accuse for that :)

We have some plugins like the Aggregation plugin which have a small context 
aware help panel. Such a thing would suit very well for geometry functions. A 
few words and a simple image would help users a lot in understanding what each 
function really does.
