well, can't be bad to have it written somewhere.
Though on dir I found to be of importance is sextantes temp directory, 
as intermdiate results for raster outputs will be written there, and the 
folders should be cleaned up once in while.
Thing is, on Mac, there is no such temp folder, and hence nothing to 
clean up. Found that here:
