Hi, I received a CD with zipped shapefiles. OJ can open them directly from the CD, but it is not possible to make those layers editable. Developer has certainly thought that because OJ can't write the edits back to zip file it is better to configure layer so that it cannot be set editable at all. But now users can't even edit the layers and use Save dataset as for saving them to some other place. I think it would be better to allow edits also for the layers which come from zip files. Save selected dataset will fail but it in not very dangerous.
