hotfix would be for the Notetool not to be a QuasiModeTool.. cool for everybody? generally this bug binds in to the other "minor issue" where layer renaming finishes a DrawTool gesture. kind of fiddely to solve, so i'd rather patch that quickly for the NoteTool patient.
