There are still problems on TIFF support with OpenJDK and Sextante too (see
a previous post of mine). AFAIR OSGeo-Live ask to use embedded OpenJDK ands
main jvm.
Not sure if our collugues of Kosmo SAIG, Deegree and GvSIG CE are in the
same troubles, reading thei lists
