I use OJ and lot and really appreciate the latest 1.8 release !
Playing a lot with PostGIS layers, I find a little annoying to load layers one by one (only one selection in the dataset comboBox).
I tested a modification using a JTreeTable instead of a comboBox to list connection's datasets.
It groups layers by schemas and allows (for the moment) to set the feature caching property for each layer.
A layer with several geometric columns is listed for each geo column.
Multi selection is enabled on the table, allowing to load several layers once, like for shapefile, for instance.
Layers with no schema detected (based on dataset name containing ".") are grouped in a "Default" schema.
I only tested it with Postgis connection for the moment.
