ok, OJ snapshot r5359 now officially starts with an early access java 9 sdk. PLUS throws some exceptions but the workbench comes up. we can now look for further incompatibilities and start to solve them in a java 8 compatible way, if possible. if not the next major release will probably an java 9+ compatible OJ 2.0 major release.
