Hi Michele,
actuallly it is not possible to add personalized geological lines in
an OpenJUMP project.
OpenJUMP "Change Style" allows only to customize colour, line width
and simple line types (continuos, dotted, etc).
On line type ("Motivo Linea", in Italian), instead to choose defined
line type, you can write down the value of lines, for instance
1,10,1,10 describes a (quasi)dotted while 10,1,10,1 describes a line with
1(unit) interuption every 10 (unit) line.
In my opion, as geololgist, OpenJUMP can be used to customize good
geological projects, using the advansed analysis tools. While a fork of
JUMP project, Kosmo SAIG, can be used to customize more advanced style
displays of a map, included normal/reverse fault lines.
