There are a number of differences. The E320 is the way Juniper wants to go going forward, as it addresses some of the deficiencies of the older E series line. While we have had growing pains with the E320s in our network, some of the new features, like LM redundancy, work great. Contact me offlist if you want more info. I will be honest and say though that Juniper still has a way to go on the software side, though the latest 7.3.1 release is a lot more mature than the initial 7.3.1 (assuming the use of 320Gb SRPs and SFMs, not the 100Gb counterparts, as I have no experience with the 100Gb modules).
