Hi Gang -
We're implementing some EX4200s for a customer. ?A problem that we're having
though is that devices configured with static IP addresses are not able to
communicate on the network (DHCP hosts are fine).
We believe that we've tracked this down to the arp-inspection and
examine-dhcp options that are added by default when various port profiles
are selected in the WebUI.
I was wondering what others are doing to work-around this behavior. ?We're
running 9.5R4.3 on the switches (code version that was recommended by our
Juniper SE)
Thanks,
Ben
Ben,
My understanding is that you will need to configure static IP addresses
for DHCP bindings on the access ports:

I haven't tested it myself, so I would be very curious to know what type
of mileage you get on this.
