Now I'm by no means expert in the area. But pqIII is old technology at 90nm litography, freescale has for some years pimped QorIQ as repleacement, maybe if it did have QorIQ I could stretch my imagination to buy this argument. I don't think you need to even look at any embedded intel solution, I think core2duo would offer more work with less thermal output, physical space I cannot fathom being an argument. I think BOM is key argument.
