Tony, you might want to ping the Software/Data Carpentry list with this
question? Their efforts span a huge range of communities, including having
done a lot of work with libraries, and they use Jupyter a lot.  So they
might have experience relevant to your query.

And if you learn something on this front, it would be great if you could
report back here, I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in the outcome :)
