We have just published a release candidate for notebook 5.1.0. This release introduces i18n (internationalization) support, RTL (right-to-left) support, and several important bug fixes. See a list of PRs in this release <https://github.com/jupyter/notebook/pulls?q=is%3Apr+milestone%3A5.2+is%3Aclosed> .
Please give it a try: pip install notebook --pre --upgrade Note that you will need to restart the notebook server and possibly hard-refresh any open notebook tabs in your browser (or clear your browser's cache) after upgrading to ensure that you are running 5.2.0rc1. We hope to release 5.1.0 by Thursday. Feel free to provide feedback here or by creating an issue on Github <https://github.com/jupyter/notebook/issues>. Thanks!
