I've just uploaded a release candidate of notebook 5.5 to PyPI.

While there's no headline new feature in this release, there are quite a
lot of smaller changes, and there's a good chance we've unwittingly broken
something. So if you've been looking for ways to contribute to Jupyter,
here's an easy way to get started! We'd like as many of you as possible to
install the release candidate and try working with it.

To install the new version:

   pip install --upgrade --pre notebook

Please report bugs at https://github.com/jupyter/notebook - and if you feel
like trying to fix bugs as well, go for it.

You can find more about what's new in the changelog - I've tried to
organise the entries so they're easier to scan through:

Thank you to all the contributors, especially a number of new contributors
who have their first changes in this release. :-)
