I'm trying to follow the "ground-up" instructions here: https://jupyterhub.readthedocs.io/en/stable/installation-guide-hard.html
They seem to imply that I need nginx if I don't want to have users connect to port 8000. I'm not sure that I'm interpreting it correctly, though.
