Hi, all, Not everyone is always so quiet, are they? Anyway, I'm just writing to update you on my race since I wrote about it earlier last week. I finished in 1 hour and 56 minutes. If I didn't have to make a potty stop and wait for 3 people ahead of me, I would have been quicker. But it was a fun day! The race I was in began last so my racing partner and I got to cheer on several people racing before us. Some of those same people did the same for us at the end. There were two bands at different cheering stations and it was a blast to hear them, especially the band made of of refugees from The Democratic Republic of Congo who played a very upbeat song as we ran by. A neighborhood decorated their street with smiley faces, children's handprints and other pictures and notes to people's charities and several people were out in their yards cheering us on. What a blast! I think I'm going to find some races here since it was so much fun!
Anyway...take care, all!
