The hot water thrown into the air can be a dangerous experiment if you don't pay attention to the direction of the wind. I've heard of several people who have gotten burned due to not being careful. Makes you wonder what people are thinking.
It is warming up today, but I can't wait till spring. *smile* Or June. Mel -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Martin G. It should get up to 41 or 42 this afternoon. Our weather forecasters said on Saturday that we wouldn't get above freezing until Tuesday and they were right. You could not have asked for a more beautiful day on Saturday. It was clear most of the afternoon. The temperature was around 54 F or 12 C. I was assembling new shelves in a shed in our back yard and it was perfect weather for that sort of thing. We sure haven't had anything like what you describe or like what some guy in Chicago was demonstrating. He would throw boiling water up in the air and it would freeze in to snow flakes before hitting the ground. On ABC's "Good Morning, America," they were talking about wanting to demonstrate how fast water froze when poured on something outdoors but their demonstration went wrong when the water bottle froze before the reporter could spray any of it's contents About 4:30 on Saturday, one could feel a little extra bite as a breeze sprung up from the North and it was rapidly down hill from that point on. Be careful. It should warm up about June. ======================================== The Just-chat E-Mail forum is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free To modify your subscription options, please visit for forum's dedicated web pages located at: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/just-chat> You can find an archive of all messages posted to the just-chat group at either of the following: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/just-chat/index.html> or: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> You may subscribe with your RSS reader at the following URL: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.xml> ---------------------------------------
