Summary: Allow tests using JWebUnit not to have to be GPL'd

Initial Comment:
The SpringSource dm Server open source project [1] has been successfully using
JWebUnit for quite some time. Thanks for providing a great tool.

We are in the process of donating dm Server to Eclipse.org as the Virgo open
source project [2] and we have hit a problem: we cannot continue to use
JWebUnit because of a license incompatibility between the Eclipse Public
License and the GPL. (We didn't previously have this problem because dm Server
is licensed under the GPL.)

Might it be possible to add an exception to the JWebUnit license so that
projects which use JWebUnit do not have to be licensed under the GPL? MySQL did
something similar [3]. This would enable Virgo to use JWebUnit and may
encourage other Eclipse projects to do the same.

Alternatively, changing the license of JWebUnit to the Apache Software License
v2.0 would be an alternative solution and would open up the use of JWebUnit to
many more open source projects.

Thanks for your time,
Glyn
dm Server/Virgo project lead
PS. I raised this on jwebunit-users but my post was blocked, so I am raising
this feature request to be on the safe side.

Message:
We recently switched the project licence from GPL to LGPL, which can be
linked to, and extended by, by EPL software (I'm using JWebUnit in my EPL
project too). I think the next release will have the appropriate license
file, etc. As far as I know, as long as you don't modify the JWebUnit code
directly (i.e. the content in the JARs), no license change is necessary.
