Hi Martijn,

Maven central does not accept non reproducible _snapshot_ releases, ie those with SNAPSHOT in the version number. It is perfectly fine however to submit release candidates or betas, eg [1].

You can find the recommendations for the groupId here [2]. I assume it is ok to keep the jwebunit groupId because it exists already. However if this was a project not already present on central they would probably require you to use the package name structure.

It's up to you really, i'm just trying to do some maven evangelism here ;-)

Jorg,

Maven central repo doesn't accept non-final releases. So 1.3 final
will go into the central repo, but for release candidates, beta's and
snapshots you will have to use our own jwebunit repo.

As for relocating, that would be an option. I don't really have a
problem with the current naming scheme (groupId jwebunit). It is
really cumbersome to have to know that jwebunit is hosted at
sourceforge.net. And there is no way any other project would go about
and claim the jwebunit groupid. So I don't see a naming conflict
either.

So I'm -0.5 on relocating.
