Fred, A nice idea, I think validating for accessibility might be another good check (ensuring all alt tags have a value, title has a value, etc).
That said, I would like it to be an optional setting at best. For some projects, adhering to standards is simply not a requirement while for other projects it is. jWebUnit should not be the one to enforce it, but it should enable the user of jWebUnit to enforce such requirements.
