I'm trying to do some test automation of various web GUIs for the product I work on. I used HttpUnit a few months ago for testing part of the product and it just didn't seem very natural for what I was doing. So, then I looked into HtmlUnit for the part of the product I'm working on now, and it was also awkward. I needed something where I could write tests at a higher level than HttpUnit or HtmlUnit, but I wanted a Java-based tool instead of some standalone test framework (like Canoo WebTest, Selenium, etc.). So I was so happy to discover that JWebUnit exists. I downloaded it Thursday afternoon and within about 3 hours I had tests written that I'd struggled for days to do with HtmlUnit directly. And it just "feels" right for the kind of testing I'm doing. So, thanks for putting together such an awesome toolkit, and keep up the good work. Assuming I don't run into any critical deficiency, I'm planning to switch all our GUI test automation over to JWebUnit and evangelize it throughout the company. So far it's seems great!
