Hello,

I have a problem with JWebUnit testing a web application with html frames.

The html pages of the application are composed by frames. The frameset is
similar to the follow:

<frameset cols="150,150,*" border="no">

      <frame name="header" src="">

      <frame name="center" src="center.html">

      <frame name="footer" src="">

</frameset>

The page header.html has in the tag body a javascript call to a function.
The javascript function is something like this:

function loadFrame() {

parent.header.location.href='header.html';

parent.center.location.href='center.html';

parent.footer.location.href='footer.html';

}

When I test with JWebUnit it seems that only the frames header and center
are loaded with the right pages, the footer frame is empty.

If I change the attribute src of the frame footer like this:

<frameset cols="150,150,*" border="no">

      <frame name="header" src="">

      <frame name="center" src="center.html">

      <frame name="footer" src="test.html">

</frameset>

The frame footer is loaded wrongly with the content of test.html instead of
footer.html

If I change my frameset like this:

<frameset cols="150,150,*" border="no">

      <frame name="header" src="">

<frame name="footer" src="">

      <frame name="center" src="center.html">

</frameset>

All the frames are correctly loaded with the right content.

Obviously, the application doesn't have this problem and all the frames are
loaded by the javascript regardless of the position of the frame in the
frameset and thereby regardless of the moment when the javascript function
is called.

May you help me?

Thank you in advance.
