Hi Rajinder,
Your code seems good so I don't understand why it is not working. You can try
to perform advanced debugging, using a tool to monitor HTTP traffic (use for
example tcpmon: https://tcpmon.dev.java.net/).
Regards,
Julien

Julien,
Yes it’s working properly. But After
Authentication when I click on any link then it does not go to the required
page instead the session expires due to which it redirects to some other page.

Rajinder,
Are you sure that authentication works? You should rethrow the exception:
}catch(ComparisonFailure cf) {
logger.warn("User
: " + USER_NAME + " was unsuccessful in logging into " +
BASE_URL);
throw cf;
}

Julien

Hi Julien,
Attached is the sample javacode I have written.
It works fine when testAuthentication() method is executed
or we can say until first request response cycle is completed.
Now in suscribe method when I try to click
‘Link1’ i.e. the next request is sent the session expires.

Can you paste a small extract of your test case (Java code)?

Re : Help:JwebUnit Testing
Hi Julien,
Thanks for the reply.
Below are the details asked for:
The website I am testing using JwebUnit uses Cookie and
Hidden fields to maintain the session.
I am using version 2.1 of JwebUnit .Attached are the jars I
am using.
I have been searching for last two days the way how to
maintain the session but am unable to find the possible solution.
It will be a great if you can help me in finding the
solution.
Adding further here are few more things I found.
After logging into the website when I click on some link on
home page the connection is refused as it starts new request response cycle
without having previous info.
Regards,
Rajinder

Hi Rajinder,
Do you know what is the mecanism used by your website to keep the session?
Cookie? URL rewriting? Hidden form field?
BTW JWebUnit is supposed to handle all these mecanisms. What is the version of
JWebUnit you are using?
Regards,
Julien

Hi,
This is regarding Jwebunit testing.
I logged into the web site through JwebUnit.
But when I click any link on the home page the connection is
refused because the authenticated session is not being carried over by
JWebUnit.
Can anyone help me and tell me how can I maintain the
session in JwebUnit.
Regds,
Rajinder
