Hi, Just a quick note to mention that Clover 2.5.0 has been released, and is now available for public download at: http://www.atlassian.com/software/clover/CloverDownloadCenter.jspa .
This release specifically targets long running functional tests using web-testing frameworks such as JWebUnit. Clover does what is known as 'selective testing' - ie finding the minimum set of tests to run for a specific change or set of changes to the application under test. Clover 2.5.0 makes this possible, even when your tests are run in a separate JVM to your application under test. For more information on Clover's Test Optimization - have a look at: http://www.atlassian.com/software/clover/features/optimization.jsp Or to get started dive straight into the installation guide: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CLOVER/Clover+Documentation+Home A list of supported testing environments is here: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CLOVER/About+Test+Optimization#AboutTestOptimization-SupportedTestEnvironmentsforTestOptimization We'd be very interested to hear your feedback!
