I think I'll add an option in TestContext like
setAjaxCallSynchronized(boolean)

The problem is this option will be ignored by Selenium plugin...

in case you are afraid of consequences for other users I believe the best 
option 
would be
to 
make this change exposed as an option for the user 
(false/true)...
