Hi Ricky,

when we put together the DSML stuff a few years ago, there wasn't a standard way to include authentication, and the (then) licence for the sun dsml provider precluded it's use... however we're not actively developing the DSML side of JX at the moment, so if the licence issues are resolved, then sure, we'd be happy to look at using it (we used the sun DSML provider in house for awhile; it seemed a bit buggy then, but basically worked...).

Anyway, if you're able to work on this then that would  be great!  How many changes do you need?  From memory, it should just be setting the provider and including the jar, but maybe you need a bit more stuff to pass the credentials across?

I have been working with the SUN JNDI DSML Soap
provider com.sun.jndi.dsmlv2.soap.DsmlSoapCtxFactory.

This jndi provider supports authentication (basic
authentication via HTTP Headers) & SSL.

I took JXplorer 3.2 beta source code and modified it
to use this provider.

It works except for a namespace issue on attribute
names in the request.

For my needs this request is acceptable.

I didn't see any bugs that are related to dsml.  Is
anyone working on dsml issues for the 3.2 release?

I could assist if it is possible?
