Select leaf node Craig Link from Administration 2. Copy branch 3. Paste alias into another area "Finance" 4. Select Alias Craig Link under Finance and "Cut branch". 5. "Paste Branch" the alias back into original area i.e Administration 6. Msg box "The cut operation will modify the directory" click OK 7. Operation fails with "Unable to perform Modify operation" Click OK. 8. Click refresh 9. SOMETIMES deletes "Craig link" in Administration 10. Click on alias Craig Link in Finance 11. Observe "Unable to perform Read entry operation." error Click OK 12. Select Alias Craig Link under Finance and "Delete". 13. Observe "Unable to perform Read entry operation." I tried to reproduce this on and I could not. However if step 5 is replaced with: 5. "Paste Branch" back to Administrator 6. Select OK to the continue dialog, then => "Unable to perform Modify operation" is displayed 7. Select OK 8. Select alias in Finance again, then => "Unable to perform read operation" dialog is displayed 9.
