Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Trudi Ersvaer (trudiersvaer) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Problem with address editor Initial Comment: The two JXplorer Address editors handle $ (dollar) signs inconsistently 1. Start JXplorer 2. Navigate to any inetOrgPerson (Craig Link) 3. Select "Table Editor" and click on homePostalAddress and enter L1$ L2 4. Select OK and Submit => homePostalAddress is displayed correctly as L1\24 $L2. $ is encoded as hex \24 to distinguish between the $ as a seperator 5. Switch to HTML view => homePostalAddress is displayed L1\24 L2 => I would have expected it to show the $ sign as in step 3 6. Also entering a $ in the HTML view is immediately changed to a line break instead of changed into a \24. Note this works correctly in JXweb. See also LabTrack 3362 for further explanations from Trudi about how to handle $ signs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=480577&aid=1529408&group_id=55394 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
