Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Trudi Ersvaer (trudiersvaer) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Problem connecting with user password(s) Initial Comment: If a user has two userpasswords and changes one in the html view then the other becomes invalid in jxplorer In JXplorer, if you create a user with two userpasswords and connect with each they work fine. However if you change one in the HTML view, then the other password becomes invalid and the one changed is the one that works. If you change the second password in the HTML then the first one becomes invalid but the second one works. Procedure to reproduce: 1. Connect to democorp sample and create new entry "Test" under "administration" with sn "Test" 2. Add a "userPassword" of "hi" 3. Add another (second) "userPassword" of "hello" 4. Copy the DN and paste in the connection window after disconnecting. Reconnect again with both passwords. Both should work fine. 5. In the "Test" entry click on "HTML View" and then edit the first "userPassword" box. change the password to "test". 6. Reconnect with password "test" 7. Reconnect with password "hello" - login fails. 8. Reconnect again with password "test" and then modify the second "userPassword" field to "test2" 9. Reconnect with password "test2" and will work fine 10. Reconnect with password "test" and the login again fails stating "incorrect credentials" It appears to be using only one userpassword from the HTML view and replacing it even if there are two fields. Whereas in the Table Editor it recognises the two different passwords and uses both. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=480577&aid=1529395&group_id=55394 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
