Summary: Reconnect if DSA offline

Initial Comment:
In JXplorer, the connection needs to be cleanly 
reestablished after a dsa goes offline.

It's not clear to me how we know that the directory 
has gone off line?  As far as JX can tell, the 
directory has simply stopped responding (which is 
difficult to distinguish from a slow response).  If we 
time out, we can close the connection, but otherwise, 
unless the connection is anonymous, what should we 
do?  We need to reprompt the user for passwords, or 
cache the passwords when the user connects (eeeee).

Suggestion that this might be satisfied by remembering 
the users browse state, and somehow prompting them to 
re-connect, and then re-establishing the state...
