Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Invalid Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Markus Dolze (mmdolze) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Config files created in wrong directory Initial Comment: Version: Jxplorer 3.3 OS: Windows XP If Jxplorer is startet as a user without write access to the Jxplorer installation directory, per-user configuration files are created / copied in the user home directory like this:
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\tfabian>dir jx* Volume in Laufwerk C: hat keine Bezeichnung. Volumeseriennummer: 0C9A-18F8 Verzeichnis von C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\tfabian 12.08.2012 15:37 <DIR> jxplorer 10.08.2012 17:13 509 jxplorerconnections.txt 10.08.2012 17:03 622 jxplorercsvconfig.txt 10.08.2012 17:03 140 jxplorergssapi.conf 12.08.2012 15:38 7.181 jxplorerjxconfig.txt 10.08.2012 17:03 <DIR> jxplorersecurity It looks like all configuration files should go into the jxplorer\ sub-directory, but the path names are incorrectly constructed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Christopher Betts (pegacat) Date: 2012-08-12 07:16 Message: There were some known bugs in this area in 3.3; we put out a 3.3.01 patch a couple of weeks ago. Could you recheck with 3.3.01 and reopen the problem if it still exists? It *should* create files in the win7 user data directory (seems to work that way for me :-) ) - but I wonder if there is a problem with the german language version? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=480577&aid=3556687&group_id=55394 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
