Hi,

We recommend running JXplorer with Java 1.4.2_04. However, when I tried
it, JX does at least start with 1.5.0 so I'm not sure the Java version
is the problem. It sounds like a path issue at a guess.

Please try running JX with the recommended version of Java if it is
possible. There are some known issues with JX and 1.5 which are on the
TO DO list.

Regards,
Trudi.

Subject: [Jxplorer-users] windows install, cannot find Java 2 Runtime
enviroment.

I downloaded windows, 3.1 and ran the the .exe, it gives me an error of:

Cannot find Java 2 Runtime Environment

However, now of my other applications have an problem with this.

Here is what is on my PC when doing java -version

java version "1.5.0_03"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_03-b07)

Is it perhaps a problem with Java 1.5
