Hi Joe,
you're probably right about the problem being caused by JX
getting confused about the config file location. To get around this
problem, JX allows you to make this configurable: see the text at the
top of the config file for details (I include it below as well, since
you may not be getting any config file at all if the file permissions
are interfering with JX writing the default config file).
One day I'll get around to redoing the user documentation to
make this all more obvious :-)

# The property file location defaults to where JXplorer is installed
# - this can be over-ridden with the system property 'jxplorer.config'
# with a config directory location, or set to user home using the
# flag 'user.home' (e.g. -Djxplorer.config='user.home' on the
command line).

I've recently started uping JXplorer, and am quite impressed by it. I
have found a minor problem with it, though. I can make a connection,
and browse with no problem. However, if I save the connection
template,
quit JXplorer, then restart it, the template is gone. I've installed
the program assuming multiple users (/usr/local/JXplorer/), and am
guessing that it is trying to save the template there as well. Is
there
a way to get it to save in my home directory in, say, ~/.JXplorer, for
example?
Thank you for your help.
