Hi Wags,

sounds like you've got multiple versions of java on your system and it's picking up the wrong one. JXplorer does the equivalent of running 'java -version' when it starts, and usually this is the same as what you get from opening a console window and typing >java - version at the command line. If you're on windows and running it as an installed program under windows, you may need to mess around with windows environment variables to get the path right...

    Hope this helps!

Chris,
I had Jbuilder5 installed which had some pointers for java 1.3.1 I believe. So I uninstalled the JBuilder5, restarted computer, installed java 1.5, restarted, ran verify from Java and verified 1.5, but when I attempt to start jxplorer, it comes back must have java 1.4.0 or greater. In the header bar it states that the current java is 1.3.1_01.

Where is it getting that from? I re-verified from Java that it sees the 1.5 and not 1.3.1.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I have attempted to cleanup the directory and at this point, nothing seems broken, but it always seems to find 1.3.1_01 though it is no longer on the system.

Any questions and/or problems, please let me know.

        Thanks!

Wags ;)
