Hi Mike,

     there are lots of reasons you might not be able to add a user -  
you might have left out some required attribute, or you might not  
have the right security privileges, or the connection might have  
timed out, or ... - does it give you any more information?  It should  
come back with a specific ldap error if the problem is directory  
based, or a java error if it's a problem at the JXplorer end.  You  
shoudl be able to get more info by clicking the button on the error  
window that shows you the full error information and trace.
