Hi, I'm having trouble setting the stmp server manually for live accounts (@live.co.uk and @live.com.pt). I got another device and I can't get this settings right. All is ok with pop3 server, no problem receiving mails, but no luck with stmp and sending mails.
I have the following settings, which I believe to be the same settings I had before and working: POP 3 *Incoming:* Username: [email protected] Password: my password POP server: pop3.live.com Port: 995 Security type: SSL (always) *Outgoing:* SMTP server: smtp.live.com Port: 25 / 587 (tried both of them, no luck) Security type: STARTTLS (always) Yes Require sign-in Autentication: AUTOMATIC Username: [email protected] Password: my password What I am doing wrong? I always get "Cannot connect to server. (Unable to open connection to STMP server.)
