Hello, recently i have problems with k9mail.
I have the Samsung S4 with the Original-Goolge Android 4.4.2 and the newest k9mail-app from the store. The S4 is not rooted. When i enable the push email option the traffic and the power consumption is very high. The traffic is about 30-40 MB a day. And the power consumption is so high, that the accu of the S4 is empty in about a half day. What i recognized is, that the S4 is very hot - i think that the cpu works all the time because k9mail pushes very often the mails. I disabled the push funktion for my 4 email-accounts and set the option for "retrieve mails" to 3 hours. So the S4 is cold and the power consumption is normaly again- and the traffic of k9mail is 2-5 mb a day - what it should be and what it was before i had the problem. I tried several (i think really all) options in k9mail but i can do what i want i have the problem. Any idea what could help? Is this known bug in the newest version (perhabs it could be, that it was already in one or two versions before the actual version - i recognized this problem since a few days/weeks).
