Hi developers,

as you probably know support for PGP/MIME is a very common feature
request. I have been contacted by various people who are interested in
helping with that.
Adding PGP/MIME support is a rather large project. So I created a new
repository[1] to be able to liberally hand out write access and to be
able to use the wiki[2] for the (developer) documentation.

I tried to briefly document the problem[2] and created a preliminary
list of requirements[3] and tasks[4] for this project.
Please write to the k-9-dev mailing list if you think something is
missing or you have any questions.

If you want to contribute, please briefly introduce yourself on the
k-9-dev mailing list. If you include your Github user name I will add
you to the team for the PGP/MIME project.

Since this is a volunteer-run project, don't wait for anyone to tell you
what to do. Create a suggestion in form of a pull request or a design
document and ask others to comment. We'll figure out the rest then :)

Best,
cketti
