Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded my GoDaddy email account to IMAP. I found that in
order to have this change on my mobile device (Samsung Galaxy Note 2),
I would have to reinstall the K-9 mail app. However, I do not want to
lose my Sent emails from my Note 2! How can I save these precious
emails that I have sent from the K-9 mail app? Is it possible?

You don't need to reinstall the K-9 mail app for starters.

At worst, you'd have to set up a new account but I'm pretty sure you can
just change the account settings to use IMAP instead of POP3.

I just checked and there doesn't seem to be an option to change the server type (feature request?).

But as another poster mentioned, just add a second account and stop using the old account to check e-mail (it's under the fetchmailing mail settings I believe). I do not know if you can move the "sent" mail between accounts in K-9.
