Greetings, relatively new K-9 mail user here. I moderate a few Mailman email discussion lists.
When Mailman (the email discussion list manager) holds a message for approval, it sends a message to the list's moderator. The subject of this message is "<list name> post from <sender> requires approval." When you open that message in other mail readers, you see a message from Mailman: "As list administrator, your authorization is requested for the following mailing list posting." This is followed by the list address, the sender's address, the subject, and the reason the message was held for approval. This message from Mailman also has two other email messages included as MIME attachments (Content-Type: message/rfc822). One is the email that was held for approval. (This may include its own attachments.) The other is a separate email from Mailman. This email has as its subject the word "confirm" and a long string of letters and numerals (the confirmation string). By replying to this second email, you as moderator can approve or deny the posting. Pegasus mail (for one) has no problem with this. I can open that second email and reply to it, to take care of moderation by email. However, when I receive moderator email from Mailman in K-9 mail, it doesn't respect the attached email messages. Instead, it shows all the message in one go: - the message with subject "<list name> post from <sender> requires approval." - the message held for approval (though not its attachments; those are visible with the Attachments button) - the confirmation message from Mailman This means that it's impossible to reply to the Mailman confirmation message. If you start a new email message and paste in the "confirm <confirmation number>, Mailman rejects it as invalid, because it's not a reply to the message Mailman sent. How can I configure K-9 to respect the sub-messages (if you will) attached to messages, so I can use it for moderating email discussion list posts? I hope I've described the problem clearly enough.
