I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 on Verizon. I'm not receiving emails until a couple of hours or even days after they're sent (and this isn't a wifi or data issue because everything else on my phone is working fine). I first noticed this problem with my Yahoo account (I would have to manually load that account for new mail to appear even though background sync is enabled as "always"). Now I'm having this issue with multiple accounts, it seems (but in particular my Gmail and Yahoo accounts. I have a work email and school email, both Gmail-based, that don't seem to be affected).
I know the issue is with this app in particular because I have no problems with getting mail from the stock app on my tablet or Thunderbird on my computer. In fact, right now I'm looking at my k9 inbox on my phone and my Thunderbird inbox on my computer. Here's an example of the discrepancy: -In Thunderbird, in my Gmail inbox, there are 5 emails with time stamps ranging from 1:45am to 7:37am. These don't show up on my phone, but emails sent at 9:22am to my school email account shows up in both K9 and Thunderbird. -I just manually refreshed the Gmail account and the missing emails have just showed up. I think that I'll need to manually configure the settings on my accounts to fix this. Could someone please help me with this? -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
