Hello.

My Gmail account has many folders. Maybe 30, not sure.

I want to sync only 5 or 6 frequently (every 6h).

But it seems to me K9 produces new mail notification for all folders. I
want new mail notif only for 2 of them. Or, just mailbox.

I want to ask K9 to auto-sync 5 folders, but, NOT notify me of new
messages. These folders contain RSS feeds (Rss2mail) and server logs. I
need auto-sync, so that all those messages are available at any place, and
any time (like in subway, where there is no network). Those folders are
flooded by messages all day long. So, every 6h, there may be between 5 and
20 new emails. I don't need my phone to ring every 6h "hey, your server
emaild that every thing is fine". Don't need either to ring each time
people post a message on a blog. But, I want those to be available
(synched) when I am ... doing nothing, at places I may not have network.

The two folders for which I want notif are ... Inbox, and "emergency", the
folder where come urgent messages (server failure and so).

I did not find any way to use folder classes to do that. But, I am not sure
how K9 works. Classes can be used for sync, and for show. But:
- i don't know if notif are given for show, or for sync
- in fact, i am not sure what "show" means in K9

Thanks.
