This problem recently cropped up. I changed no settings, did nothing differently from what I had done in the past. I had to reinstall K9 and other apps due to a problem with my phone, but other than that, everything was as it always was. Here's the issue:
When I try to delete Emails from my account's folder (I have only one account and one folder), they disappear from the folder, albeit temporarily. The next time a new Email arrives, all the previously deleted Emails reappear, adding to my clogged in-box. I receive probably 150 or so Emails per day, so this is really annoying. I've tried everything I could to get these Emails (read or unread) to disappear from my folder for good. They show in the Trash folder, but then they reappear as I just mentioned above. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I've reset the phone--everything, including changing the settings in K9. However, nothing has worked.
