I just thought that I'd report that I've had no problems whatsoever after the update. I am running Android 4.4.4 on a Motorola Droid MAXX. My sympathies to those that are having trouble. And, if you haven't used K9 for long, be patient. It is the best email program out there, bar none. I've tried them all and this one rocks.
