It's working! So what I found was somehow a "space" was being inserted *after* the "smtp....net". I inadvertently backspaced it out when going to edit the adr and with the first "backspace" the "smtp...net" was *underlined* and "Next" was not greyed out. So all is good but I really don't know how that space got in there and I mean at least a few times! Using SwiftKey keyboard...maybe that's the problem...dunno.
