Hi all. I'm new to this group even if I have been using K-9 mail on my Android devices for about 3 years. I "googled" a little bit this forum but I did not find an answer. So excuse me if it was already discussed, but using words like "metapassword" or "master password" I did not find threads concerning this subject.
I have many email accounts to check with K-9, ie 8 different accounts and so it is quite boring to insert 8 different passwords every time. So I decided to saved them. In this case however, if someone steals my smartphone (or my tablet), then (s)he can access all my mail. So, my question is the following: is there any plan to add a master/meta password which protects a K-9 installation where all the passwords are saved in order not to have to digit everytime? In this cas in fact I need to digit just one. Alternatively, is there any other tip/trick to protect my data without reintert password of different accounts anytime I need to check them? TIA & cheers, Leopoldo aka Topldo -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
