I just did a test using an AOL account I have. Sure enough, it appeared 
there just fine.

This may be a verizon issue. They have gone far downhill since they spun 
off their email service to a third party.

I suppose the strange part is that K-9 shows the test emails as having been 
"sent." Sent where??

Ah, tech. Gotta love it right? Nope.
