That error message looks like something from the mail transport
level (receiving mail server) rather than device-specific.
Do you have the same "outgoing mail server" configured for your pc's
mail client and in K9? Were you sending to the same recipient(s) in
both cases (including an address that you may bcc on mail sent from
your android device)? If either of these was different that could
account for the rejection in the one case and not the other.
