You didn't indicate the outgoing server settings that you have tried, or any error messages that you may be getting, so it's hard to know what the problem might be.
That said, according to their documentation: <https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/4714/setting-up-your-email-address-with-imap> you should be using: Outgoing Port Without SSL - one of the following: 25, 80, 3535 With SSL - 465 with, by implication, authentication.
