I've been using K-9 for quite a while now and I really like it. Since
version 5.000 I have not been able to send emails.
Working:
Version: 4.804
Settings:
Security: None
Port: 587
Authentication: Plain
Not Working:
Version: 5.000
Settings:
Security: None
Port: 587
Authentication: Password, transmitted insecurely
Error message: Cannot connect to server. (Authentication methods SASL PLAIN
and LOGIN are unavailable)
Is it possible that there was a change to the way the AUTH command is
issued between 4.804 and 5.000 that is causing my problem?
For now I'm sticking with 4.804, but I'd like to use the latest.
